I'm Mallorie, and I would love to share a little bit about myself with you! I'm a wife, momma, and photographer. I work in the Virginia, DC, and Maryland areas BUT...I'm forever a Texan at heart. I'm southern to the core and I believe in hugs over handshakes, tea is BEST sweetened, front porches are for sitting, and that meals are best shared with friends and family. I say "y'all" a whole lot, and am still adjusting to live in the DC metro after living here for almost a decade!

From the initial inquiry to the delivering of your wedding gallery, I'm with you every step of the way!
Once my couples decide they don't want anyone else to document their wedding day I do a little happy dance, and I send them a digital contract to sign. That's when the real fun begins! Next we set a date and location for an engagement session, and get to cover ALL the details for the big day!
After our engagement session I stay in contact with my couples up until the wedding day! I create a photography specific wedding day timeline for them, communicate with their other vendors, and send my sweet couples some fun gifts along the way! I love taking the time to truly get to know each of my couples well!

So if you are just looking for a photographer to take some pictures at your wedding and move along...I hate to break it to you, but I'm not the photographer for you. I get way too emotionally involved with my amazing couples. I keep in touch with them, send them presents when they're feeling down, celebrate their birthdays, and basically just love being their cheerleader as the navigate life. I truly believe that I'm MORE than "just" a wedding photographer to my couples.
One of the main reasons I'm so passionate about wedding photography is that my husband and I eloped, and didn't have a wedding photographer. Shocking I know! The wedding photographer didn't even hire her OWN wedding photographer! This little known fact about me makes me even more determined to make sure YOU have the wedding pictures of your dreams!

Most of my couples tell me that they get nervous in front of a camera! I really view engagement sessions as a time to make my couples comfortable in front of the camera, and to have FUN! I have yet to have a couple walk away from a session and still feel nervous in front of my camera!
